It had a distinct smell in my car, and once I popped this bad boy in, within a day or two the smell was gone. It did make a sound for a while like I did not do it correctly, but I did, after about a week the sound went away, so everything's good. I will buy this again when the time comes

Did not fit right out of box. Had to trim with scissors.

Good value. A little flimsy but pretty much what I expected. My only real complaint is that out of the box it did not drop right in to my Honda Odyssey. I had to trim the tabs on one end with scissors for it to fit in to the filter housing.
