This thread has really taken off with machine quilters and has been used in numerous award winning quilts. Long staple cotton gives this thread the strength needed for high speed machines. Cotton mako is also mercerized giving it a sheen not found in most cotton threads.

Light but average

Three stars. These are very lightweight and seem fine for the price, but the leather felt a bit too thin for what I was looking for. I didn’t even end up trying them on because they just didn’t feel like they would hold up long term.
They’re not bad if you need something inexpensive for occasional wear, but I wanted something that would last. It felt like they might scratch easily, so I decided to return these and go with a more expensive option instead.
